I'm not sure whether I'm being silly or not but it seems that I have to keep cancelling and giving the slot each time a train appears at City Thameslink otherwise the train will just wait at a red at City Thameslink despite there being a solid white dot representing the slot. Am I doing something wrong?

Just completed a multiplay session and the slot was left lit all the time, trains entering from VS as required.

Thanks for the reply. The slot stays lit but services seem to await the right away at City Thameslink for an eternity unless I quickly take away and give the slot. Maybe I'm just imagining things, will do some more tests.

Just done a test and trains definitely aren't departing City Thameslink unless I re-give the slot. Perhaps it's because TORR isn't enabled?

That could be it: I DID have TORR enabled.

The slot stays lit, as per real panel - I can't reproduce the issue with train not departing City Thameslink? If TORR is not enabled and the route is not in auto you will need to restroke the route every time.

I can confirm for any future questions that if you do not have TORR selected before the sim starts, you'll be forever turning that slot on and off. :doh

Here's how it works at my end with TORR disabled: - Give first slot of the simulation, the train passes without a problem - A second train arrives at City Thameslink and despite the slot still being lit, this train will not depart, presumably because it has a red? - Take away the slot and within a second or two, it is naturally requested. - Once it is given again that train will depart but the same thing will happen over and over again. Surely it would be Victoria signal box's job to re-stroke the route as it's not a route that is settable from the WH panel? It seems to me that cancelling and re-giving the slot has the same effect of re-stroking but surely this shouldn't be WH's responsibility? Thanks again and apologies if I'm being dim. Sounds like Victoria's signal has TORR deactivated too, and the "adjacent" signalman doesn't know he has to cancel the signal and set again - presumably removing the slot cancels the signal, and the sim can then set the route normally.
