I am heading up to London in a few weeks, and plan to change onto the Overground ELL at Clapham Junction. OTT says the train is booked to depart from platform 2 - however I cannot find this on the station plan! I have a four-minute connection and would feel more comfortable if I knew where I was headed when I alight the train, so I was wondering if anybody on the forum could shed some light on this. Where is the mysterious platform 2? (I understand there have been recent alterations to the LO platforms, but I do not know the extent of these or what changes were made.) Thanks in advance Log in to reply |

Platform 2 is at the north end of the station, the opposite end to the Southern services.

Platform 2 is the back half of what was platform one before they cut it back to put a new platform1 in, this map explains it better than I can, I hope it isn't too confusing http://carto.metro.free.fr/cartes/metro-tram-london/index.php?gpslat=51.46411&gpslon=-0.171124&zoom=5 Log in to reply The following user said thank you: guidomcc |

The map shown on the National Rail Enquiries website is incorrect. Platform 2 is on the same face as platform 1. Platform 1 is the London-end of the platform face, Platform 2 is at the Country-end.
