I've been playing for a while, and am beginning to get incredibly frustrated with Floriston LC. It appears to randomly not clear the signal (with no error message) when pressing clear, but weirdly only in one direction. I have ACOA'd a few trains accidentally now by attempting to restroke the route (and forgetting the conditional aspects). I've also seen it do weird things like raising the barriers at odd times and not give "approaching" messages in certain instances (I can't tell when). How do you use it reliably, or is it just impossible? Last edited: 27/03/2014 at 00:06 by Muzer Log in to reply |

If I remember right, it’s when moving away from Carlisle that you see the odd behaviour you described. Just set the route and leave it set. If the LC is lowered nice and early, the protecting signal will turn green immediately. If you lower the LC a bit too late, then the protecting signal will stay red for a while, but it will clear without any further input eventually.
