I brought the multi pack New St, Coventry and Wolves simulations, downloaded New St from the download page on here. I used the set up wizard, which download the sim (I think) but it finishes and say complete setup and exit wizard. Which i do, but I cant start the install program to create a desktop icon etc, nor find the actual program on my PC.

Ive looked in the file it says its installed but there isnt anything in there?

So I downloaed the simualtion again, and again as I thought I messed up somewhere. Now it says Ive reached the download limit and I still dont have the simulation i brought?

Ive tired to download the coventry one, which is the same. Ive not tired the Wolves one though.

Someone please help, Im worried Ive just wasted £40!

thanks

Have you downloaded and installed the system files? And are you trying to run the sims from the Loader?

The program you are looking for is SimSig loader. you open this up and then use that to start each of the different simulations
You will also need to use the License manager to allocate the licenses to the sims

Ive downloaded the system files for previous simulations like Bristol and Saltey, would this be okay for the West Midlands sims? or do I need to download them again?

I found the SimSig loader program, but it requires a log in and password ?

Probably best, then you know you have the latest.

Don't Panic!

Have you installed the latest System Files. If not, download and install them. Next (since you're using a payware simulation), you'll need to start the License Manager (this can be found in All programs>SimSig). The License Manager will ask you to log in- use the same username and password you use for this site. Then, allocate the licenses for the simulation's you've bought to your computer.

Next, start the SimSig Loader (found in the same place as the License Manager) which will allow you to run the simulations. Before starting the simulation, click the 'Check For Updates' button in the Loader to ensure everything is up to date.

The website only lets you download 10 files a day, so you might have to wait 24 hours to download anything else, although a moderator might be able to reset it.

Although not necessary for the WM sims (at the moment) pressing update after installing the Sims is a better plan as the updated Sims are not always the newest version that you can download.

Aston and Stafford have both been updated since release so definitely worthwhile checking for updates straight away.
