Screen width should be fixed now, but we might yet make more improvements based on constructive criticism.
Thanks very much for doing that so quickly. It's much better.

Well, the new website is up. We hope you like the general look. There are likely to be a few glitches here and there but we're working on those. Enjoy!

Sorry but I cannot go on looking at the new web site without voicing my dismay on the colour scheme and some of the font size. A trip to spec savers might help but I am sure that I am not the only one who has difficulty reading some of the text that now appears in a faint green colour. This starts with the message headers in the forum and seems to be true on many of other pages. Do we really need to have text which even if it is in black seems to be so faint that it fades away completely to me. Some of the text that appears in the posts quoting previous replies to the post are so small that they cannot be read.
I do like the formats that have been included and are generally happy with the new look it,s just that I would like to be able to read it.

Ssssssoooooorrrrreeeeee

Very pleased we have a proper purpose made way of announcing games now. Previous site was also rather tired.

Some issues with the top menu - looks incorrect when logged in as me. See attached images.

Post has attachments. Log in to view them.

Ah, well there's another issue! I definitely attached two images. Here's the other one.

Hmm. I presume that file upload fails silently if the image is greater than 250kb? 300kb?

Here's a partial screenshot instead.

Fine, something's just broken about the file upload then. Not spending any more time on this.

I see from other posts in this thread as well as the page source that there's still a shoutbox. I don't see this at all.

Also get a bunch of 404s for fonts.

A seemingly different issue with the downloads area is that some user contributed timetables now seem to be corrupt upon download. Downloads that are working are:

Paisley May 2015 v1
Portsmouth 15-10-09 V1.1 (V4.3) (though the browser doesn’t recognise the download as completing)

Downloads that never complete or are corrupted include:

Motherwell 1984 v1 simv4.3.67
Paisley 1983 v1.1
Paisley 2006 TT v4.5.4
Portsmouth 2015 v1

Thanks for all the work you’re all doing to sort out these issues! It is much appreciated!

I wish I had your luck.

The best way that I think up a password is to have a name of a station or a junction and remember to put it into a note book and add the user name and the website address as well. I have all my passwords and information in one single book which is safely put away. This may help you.

It just took a front end developer to point out that most of my problems were because I was at 150% zoom...

Will the User contributed section of Timetables feature a list of 'latest files' so we don't have to go through each sim to find new timetables, I know its a minor thing but i'm sure we are all time poor when it comes to our hobbies versus real work so it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I've checked again and it seems like all the previously hidden spam posting are not just visible on the "Latest Posts" page, but in their respective subforums as well - and the post is actually accessible after clicking on it.

Correction first post vetting has been enabled, it's just that all posts have been copied across including those previously not approved.

Is there a button to mark all the topics as being read anywhere or is this yet to be added? Apologies if already mentioned.

Firstly, clearly not the case, secondly can you be more specific?

Not for me on any browser, it fits neatly in line with the "ads" frame.

I suspected it might be variable, as it's displayed fine on my home computer before now (but I also wondered if it was a mistake made when editing the CSS overnight!).

For reference, the screenshot is taken with Firefox 45.3.0 on Scientific Linux 6.8, not that I can think why the logo would differ between modern versions of the same browser on different system, unless the logo is meant to be scaled using client-side scripting that is failing for some reason.

So he has - my apologies.

Did inability to switch to mobile-view get logged? For some reason my phone is showing desktop site (didn't ever ask it to), and website is nigh-unreadable on a tiny iPhone screen.

Mantis 15895 for the switching between mobile / desktop.
