You lucky thing, I'm extremely lucky if my employer gives me a rota for the next week the day before that week begins.

Subject to some last minute checking of the venue (plug sockets, beer, tables, beer, space, beer) but by all accounts should serve our needs. The date was chosen to not clash with football games and a couple of other dates which were unavailable. Sorry lpeters! SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Does anyone know the closest airport to derby, or the best airport that i can get a train connection from to derby from the following list?? Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, London stanstead, London luton, London heathrow, East midlands, Bristol, newcastle or Liverpool. if i could fly over it could reduce my overall return journey time by a full day and may just be cheaper if i book while ryanair have 1 of there sales on. Mrs G has just been reading the Tesco Clubcard small print and informs me that anyone who has Tesco Clubcard vouchers to spend can now redeem them against railcards and train tickets at 2 or 3 times their face value. Details are on the Tesco Clubcard site. For example 16-25 Railcards (face value £28) can be purchased with £14 of Clubcard vouchers and a £10 voucher gives you £30 of tokens to spend on rail travel through www.redspottedhanky.com. Could be the posh end from Alnmouth to Derby in November, then. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

Looking forward to the Nov meet at the Brunswick - no shortage of beer there! It's only five minutes from where I work, so there's no excuse for not attending this one. DJR. Log in to reply |
