Can anyone explain why Henwick, Tunnel Junction & Station box don't have block instruments between them? They use block bells to offer trains etc.

Both lines are bi-directional single lines and are worked by Track Circuit Block with acceptance levers.

Hi Zoe. One thing I have noticed on inside pictures regarding Tunnel Junction is: one of the lines is a reversable ( Down Line ) I believe, has a block instrument and exceptance lever too ? Log in to reply |

The lines I describe above were from Worcester Shrub Hill and Tunnel Junction to Henwick. From Tunnel Junction to Shrub Hill the bi-direcitonal "up and down main" line is TCB with acceptance levers but the down main is Absolute Block.
