I am quite happy to check that the Brunswick is free ,once the Football fixtures are released, with a view to the customary Nov Meet being in Derby

Football League Fixtures are out this morning.

Assuming Derby will be the location, Derby County's fixtures are:

Oct 20th - HOME
Oct 27th - AWAY
Nov 3rd - HOME
Nov 10th - AWAY
Nov 17th - AWAY
Nov 24th - HOME

So can now hand over to our expert researcher Chrisrail!

Is that the one where you pick one of them and book it, and everyone else then either turns up, or moans at you?
God bless, Daniel Wilson

I think Chris wants a Forum Pole. I've never created one and I can't find any obvious way of doing so- I know we have had them, and I've confirmed they are enabled in Admin - as far as I can see.

Looks like someone has set up the Poll profile already and I've managed to get a link into the main menu side bar, but it's not clear yet how you vote!

Right, not what I had in mind but it appears we have a live Poll above the Main Menu bar.

Peter, is it worth suggesting that people only vote if they intend to attend?

Had hoped that would be a given though you are right- only vote if you intend to attend on the date you vote for. If you don't mind which date then don't vote. If you can do more than one then just select one of them and hope for the best.

Is it just my set-up or has the poll disappeared?

Don't panic, we still have a copy of the poll from before the website upgrade.

Will have to have a look after the weekend.

It was premature so I took it down. Waiting to see what happens this weekend first.

I can do both 10th and 17th! As I can only click one on the poll I went for 17th.

I will be attending the Derby meet as it is the nearest to me geographically, and hence financially. I have voted for the 17th but am able to come to either date. Thanks for putting this poll up.

I plan on attending the Derby meet after missing the London one. I am looking forward to what will be my first SimSig meet and I should be able to make either of the dates given.

OOI, I was just looking up the Brunswick on Google Earth. Is it on Calvert Street at the junction with Railway Terrace?

Dave
