Super picture John of March East Junction taken from the station footbridge. Unusual pairing of the Cl.37/0+Cl.31/1 on a speedlink service to Harwich, Norwich or King's Lynn. 1st wagon looks like a @GRAINFLOW' bogie polybulk. The pair of Cl.31s on the No.1 Down Goods, is that the sand train from Middleton Towers to Monk Bretton? I see the wagons behind are white, but not sure if they are PGAs. Bring back memories for me when I worked there in 1988.

I think the D means that the signal is an automatic signal on the Down line, as opposed to Doncaster. Looking at the Worksop sim, only controlled signals are prefixed T, with autos prefixed as D or U.

Your name rings a bell with me John. I'm wondering if you are the same person who sat at the operations control desk in the CSDC at Doncaster when I sat at the East Midlands, Yorkshire & Humberside Power desk around 1999 - 2001?

I had thought it might be the case, but seems a little confusing given the proximity of D prefixed signals.
