I just spotted, while testing a sim, that the clock now ticks over from 23:59:59 to 00:00:00 instead of the expected 24:00:00. However, times in the message window still have the time shown as 24:xx.

I checked with a couple of released sims and the same thing happens (from Vic SE):

This might be a bit of a problem when in the middle of a four-day timetable so is this deliberate or is it a bug?

On a related note, can we have seconds shown in the reports in the message window?

Oops, guess nobody checked the rollover! The methods to convert time into a string really do need refactoring so it's more obvious to Clive and myself what they do... :doh

Report seconds (and seconds in general) should be an option - logged.

Is this now the first step in the sense of doing away with the need to timetable trains that run after midnight from tt writers perspective of using 24:xx & so on times? Or will we still need to write timetables in the way we've been doing it up to now?

It's just the display, that's all. Two chunks of code to display times, one with and one without the seconds. One wrapped the time displayed (23:59:59->00:00:00); the other didn't. I just didn't notice the difference.
