The meet is well under way with 25 people in attendance, and 9 work stations, and 4 back desk laptops in use.

All is going well with the service. So far.....

I managed to grab two screen shots, one is a bit more of a teaser than a screen shot.

I really enjoyed the new sims & the orange INT button (resembling the view buttons pre-loader sims) from for the intermediate panel regions - A great idea, especially if you have an over subscribed multiplayer game, you can split the panel up with red demarcations.

To the chap who had the photo of Mexborough & Swinton and Rotherham Trolleybuses (Doug?) at Denaby level crossing I have some more information about that image...

The image contains two single deck trolleybuses (front being M&S, rear being Rotherham), the M&S being in green/cream livery & both buses are of the Sunbeam chassis / Brush body (B35C/B32C (B = bus, 35 or 32 = seating capacity, C = Centre doors)) which were introduced in 1947/1948 respectively. I can't tell which is which they are. The route was converted to motor services on 1st January 1961, so that's a 13 year window for the date of the photo.

But it is similar to the image below and the one hanging in my father's front room, the former being dated around 1954 & the latter of which was taken by the late Geoff Warnes.

So I'd say that the image is probably from ~1954 and taken by the late Geoff Warnes, if you want to know more about the image, contacting the Rotherham Trolleybus Group with a copy of that image

P.S - Sorry to the rest of you for the semi off topic post

Ianno (Ian Henderson) took the book as he said he would be able to get it to you.

I brought along the rather indistinct print as I knew there would be a few people attending that would be interested. Thanks for the info.

My thanks to John Gallon (Postal) for arranging a successful meet as always, to Karl Latham (Headshot119) for producing an excellent set of sims, to the testers who spent vast numbers of hours playing, and to all of you who attended. See you at the next meet!

I can say it was a great time. I enjoyed it from all angles, speaking from helping Karl, it was heartwarming to see everyone's face's as events unfolded. As a tester, it was an honour to be there, what made it was everyone enjoying what appeared. Kudos to all that attended, and same to those so far that have purchased the sim(s). It pleases me no end when despite the usual "when will X sim be released?" That people appreciate the hard work and effort to make it possible, it gives me satisfaction that I've made someone happy. Anyway, I've wasted time testing etc, I'm going for a break, grab some well deserved beer and await the call to the next project. Big up to all who appeared! Glad everyone who appeared , did, made my trip worth it. Hope you all enjoy the hard work we have to do. Many thankings

I've got the photos from Karl and will add them to the Meet details on the Wiki once the technology enables me to do that.
