After sharing my exploits with Virgin East Coasts 1E18 and 1E19 from Darlington last week and previous trips I was beginning to think it was me that was the jinx.
I am pleased to note that today's 1E19 the 16:28 from Darlington brought the wires down in the Northallerton area and is currently reported as 256 minutes late passing Welwyn.
Sorry to anyone who was travelling on this or later trains though.

1E19 was 83 late again today and guess who's on it again tomorrow. Lightening does not strike twice in the same place does it? Mind I have just received my latest cheque from Virgin for the last trip so they do get something right.
Can I ask all you East Coast signallers on here who work at Kings Cross, Peterborough, Doncaster, York and Tyneside to be on your best behaviour tomorrow please......he he
