Sorry to post another tedious question. Been through the board but without a search facility hard to find a reference. Anyhow having trouble getting a train into Lynwood...

Can't route/signal a train straight onto the branch.

Can't see anything in the manual about who to ring.

Been through all the contacts on the phone list and can't see any option to call anyone for a train order.

Edit: Appears you have to manually set the junction points but I had to talk the train past the signal in rear (LD9) of that protecting the junction which wouldn't clear.

Do you mean a SimSig search facility? Under the User heading in the left hand sidebar of the desktop display there is a "Search" option. When you click on this you can search any or all of Article, Forum, Products or Wiki. Is that the sort of Search you need?

Lynwood doesn't require a phone call. The route is free to be set, however you'll need to wait for the overlap to time out in front of LD11. Signal the train LD9 to LD11 normally then keep an eye on the overlap.

This is a deliberate signalling design which you will occasionally see on the UK sims as well.

The train needs to be routed towards the home and brought to a stand. Once the interlocking is happy that the train has slowed enough, it will then drop the overlap and release the points. It is a safety mechanism to ensure the train doesn't take the diverge too quickly.

Ah got it. As there only appears to be two trains in and out during the day, I'll try and do it right for the second one!

Good luck! As with all these little quirks, if you play enough they will become muscle memory and you'll know what to do without thinking.
