Just a reminder that our first meet since the world shut down will be on Saturday 19th November 2022 right outside Manchester Piccadilly station. There is a hard limit of 30 people in our booked room, with the next size up being 100 people which we won't achieve. So please ensure you are signed up if you're going, and remove yourself off the list if you're not. Thank you to the ones who updated their registration in this manner - there are now two spaces available as I type this. The post-meet dinner will likely be the same venue, albeit in a different area. This saves trying to find a suitable venue capable of seating us all - and is obviously very convenient! I take it (I hope) not being able to find a list of attendees means I never signed up? Hope so; if my name is there, would someone delete me please, otherwise I'll be triple-booked that day!

I have registered for this but will probably end up having to depart for work at some point (only over the road fortunately). Should the (currently spare) duty I get involve an early afternoon start I'll withdraw and free up a space.

Fingers crossed I can make it. As I'm coming from WFJ, I'm hoping that VT are actually going to run a service that will get me back home but services are currently unconfirmed!

I looked up trains and found I couldn't get one for less than £80 return from Bristol TM so I am driving most of the way, probably to Altrincham, and getting a Manchester Metrolink for the rest of the way in. Less hassle about parking too as I have never been to central Manchester: the nearest I normally get is my employer's HQ which is about ¼ mile from Northenden Junction.
