Glad we've ended up in the same place, anyway. See you Saturday?

Between the disruption due to WCML upgrades and the Engineers & Firemen strike, looks like I’ll be coming up in the car!

A couple of people have mentioned driving up, if you're wanting to park at Altrincham you may want to consider Navigation Road and nearby Timperley tram stops as the parking generally has better availability. We have a number of people who've committed to bringing laptops, but remember the more the merrier in terms of running simulations, so if anyone hasn't put down to bring one, but wants to, feel free! Hope to see you all at the weekend. I'm new to the scene so didn't know that we needed to express that we're bringing laptops. I've got my macbook that i've got SimSig running on, just wanted to know that if we're running a LAN, will I need to tie the sims to my machine before the event or will we have a WAN connection so that we can connect to the authentication server?

Going to be a short visit from me - starting work at 1400 so I’ll have to be gone by then unfortunately but at least I’ll be able to see what the sims are and hopefully have a quick go!

Had a fantastic day. I’d just like to say thanks to the amazing hosts for what they have done to make this happen. It was both an honour and a pleasure to meet you and share some laughs. Honestly can’t wait for the next meet. Back in London and nearly home. (My bed is waiting)
