One final query freight booked for Crew Changes, can I use Basford Hall SSM/SSN path location or do I use other locations? CSSN Sig 34/36 etc?

For DN goods trains Basford Hall SSM/SSN suffices, the crew change will take place at NH34 or NH36 if you use that loc.

I thought the same. The train looked like it was slowing for a warner route . The route had been set from winsford a long way in advance ( all the way to the other end of the sim) but had not cleared to green through the station ( all the others were fine). Other nonstoppers had blazed through at 80 happily on Greens.

You didn't select the shunt exit arrow on the UF beyond the station by any chance rather than the signal?

Look at your data for where crew changes take place, don't plaster them all in at Basford Hall. Different operators use different locations, GBRf use Salop Goods in both directions

I've got GBRf and DB Cargo all sorted that use Salop Goods. It's DRS which I think use Sig CSSN NH34/36 and NH44 for there Class 4s and some of FL.

It seems that a location is missing from the timetable editor. Crewe Sig CE105 [CREW105] (also comes up as Crewe Platform 10 Virgin Trains) which is on the Down Slow before accessing the station. Only a small number of trains use this for regulating purposes. Platform 10 is at the North of the station which also baffles me how CE105 became at Platform 10 VT?

Not sure where that site has got its mapping from, but internal systems have CREW105 as Crewe Signal CE105 as expected.

Crewe Platform 10 Virgin Trains has a TIPLOC of CREW998, but no Stannox so cannot be timetabled to; similarly Crewe Electric Loco Sidings Virgin Trains [CREW999, no STANNOX]

Mantis 38765 for missing CREW105

To be fair, CREW105 only existed from late 2019 onwards. BPLAN also has it listed as "Crewe Sig. CE105".

I'm using Crewe chained to Manchester South with the 2016 TT. Any train entering at Sydney Bridge via the Manchester Independents is picking up the TT for onward workings - for example 6Z07 picked up it's late night entry from Acton Bridge, and 6M10 (H14580 in the MS sim) has entered as its own Basford Hall departure (showing as UID H14580 in the F2 and train TT windows, but the TT editor shows the Basford Hall departure should be H14580A).

Similar happened earlier with one of the RHTT trains which appeared from Sandbach 24 hours early having picked up the ID for a much later train which would enter at Acton Bridge.

EDIT: Ignore this, I've just double checked the 0K89 thread and realised the TT isn't yet compatible!

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Using the latest version of Crewe, I tried to signal a freight permissively on top of another in the Gresty Green Through Siding, however GL55 would not clear despite the track circuit immediately ahead of it (although not the full route to GL9015) being clear which seems unusual behaviour for a ground signal.

I'm going to agree with this because of this stretch of siding being non tracked (visible from the window, hence the TCs indicated in sim)

I have been informed by three drivers and a controller that both Db Cargo & GB Railfreight use Basford Hall SSN/SSM for Crew Changes. Hardly any FOC use Salop Goods Jn for Crew Changes these days. Now I'm not sure when this changed over but I believe it was after 2015/16 period. So this doesn't affect the 2015 TT supplied. Just letting all know who are doing timetables for Crewe.

A minor graphical anomaly since the recent update - the points (PSG54) were swung correctly before the train passed over (checked having noted this glitch before), but when the track circuits occupy they show as swung for the Chester Independent. A single left click immediately normalises the graphic (no flashing) and no further changes can be made to the point positioning whilst occupied.

Mantis 38821 for the draw issue. It draws correctly on the route being set, but on TC occupation the draw error occurs

Correct. Any northbound relief we (GBRF) do at NH34/36 on the down. Any southbound relief we do at NH10/12 on the up. The walking routes to the relief point at SG don’t exist anymore so you have to scramble through the bushes which none of us do. If we are relieving one coming from gresty through the arrivals to BH Junction we will do the relief on the foot crossing.

Is there a labelling error?

Should the bottom set be the Up Independents? (Sorry if this has been mentioned before)

Would be possible to add location CSSN Sig NH10/12 to the timetable editor?, so to allow for Crew Changes etc. As mentioned above? Or it there a location for the Up Trains at Bas Hall?.

Being a bit vague here after all there are loads of entry points for Basford Hall and three for Crewe CS. Can you give more specific examples ?

Is this the updated bundled TT ? if so more specific examples please

Basford Hall Up Dep 2, Group D - G (Old Sdgs), Group H (New Sdgs), Crewe Carriage Shed 1, so far.

I've ran through your save until about 0330 where several trains were booked to come in from the mentioned locations. I can confirm on your provided .SSG that the berths don't populate when the relevant train enters.

What I am having an issue with though, is that when I ran my own fresh start (3 times) with the same settings, I could not reproduce this behaviour at all.

Is there any other relevant information you could provide such as the game being chained, any settings that could have been changed during the game?

What 'Scale of problems' option was selected? If you pick the higher difficulty options, you don't get TDs interposed at sidings.
