As I'm due to have my Operation tomorrow [24/07] I'll be out of action for all of August which means I won't the time of testing timetables I have created. I have placed this here as temporary until I get back. Timetables are Carlisle and Manchester Piccadilly based in June 2023. These are both 24hr timetables which will have another seed time added at a later time. During testing, please take note of platform clashes, Unit Uncoupling/Coupling, timing issues etc. These I would prefer to be noted down in Notepad and uploaded in a reply post or you can post directly below. Please mention which timetable you are referring to. Once I'm recovered I will go through every bit of feedback, make any changes and hopefully they will be released. Post has attachments. A little update, my operation was success and now to rest my right arm/hand for 3-6 weeks. I'll be in the background but typing and using the mouse is tricky haha.

Time to learn a new skill, then. Swap the buttons on your mouse and learn to use your left hand - then you'll see how awkward the rest of the world makes things for us left-handers! Mouse left - type (mostly) right makes sense to me especially using the number pad. AAron, hope the recovery goes as well as the op. Don't push it. Because the world is built for right-handers I have got used to working with a right-handed trackball. However, I also have a left-handed trackball in case I injure my right arm or hand. I had to use it for a while a few months ago as statins were giving me a lot of muscle pain in my right arm. It is sold by Elecom (a Japanese company) but as ever can be obtained from Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/ELECOM-Left-handed-Wireless-function-M-XT4DRBK-Black/dp/B016QCPRBM. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 25/07/2023 at 16:49 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: jc92 |

You may also be able to do that if you use Windows. Not sure about other operating systems though. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. I'm left handed for using a pen ect, but right handed for everything else. Use me mouse on the right hand and both on keyboard. Easier on the laptop in my humble opinion which I'm using at the moment.

5Z43 routing 5Z43 route Carlisle > Petteril Br rev 402 [sic] > Upperby > Carlisle is not workable as unable to reach 402/404, would need to rev in Petteril Br Sdgs 1-6 (and service maybe). Otherwise needs to go Carlisle > Upperby > Petteril Br rev 404 > Carlisle eg:- Post has attachments. Log in to view them. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. The 5J** services from Piccadilly to Newton Heath via Ashburys need to route via Ashburys Arr/Dep, there is no route to Phillips Park from the Up East/Up Main
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply |

Hi, Looking at the consists based on a TT dump, I have made the following notes: - The Sprinter types have very short join/detach dwell times, not long enough to do a proper brake test. - The Sprinter types also have no Terminate Forward or terminate Reverse dwell times set, so a late runner would be TRTS as soon as it arrives. - Would the Scots Guardsman use primary or secondary linespeed? It's been set to "Use Freight linespeed". - Were 1S01 and 1M04 really dusty bins not 325's? - Should the 325's have "Use freight linespeed"? - Most of the freight has medium braking capability, rather than low? - Class 158 3-car - should this be 69m not 70m, as all other types are multiples of 23m? Thanks Jamie Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Northern diagram allowances are 5 minutes to attach or detach. The reality is things are faster, especially detaching. We don't have a requirement to do a full brake test though, just a continuity check when joining. And at Piccadilly our dispatchers will bell us out pretty much immediately if they know the crew are there to take the train back out. I'd imagine 1S01 and 1M04 are the Varamis Rail Mossend-Birmingham International services? In which case they are indeed 321s. There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway. Log in to reply |
