Hi everyone, I am currently running the Summer 2021 timetable for the East Coastway simulation and the current time on it is 06:35, I have 2D06 at P2 at Eastbourne and 5F90 at P2 aswell however on the train list it says on 2D06 ready to depart but train 5F90 in front, I try setting a route from P2 to the next signal towards Hampden Park but it keeps saying that the subroute is locked in the opposite direction, if anyone could assist me on this it would be greatly appreciated. When I opened up your save file, 5F89 is in the process of arriving at Eastbourne from the carriage sidings. The signal he was routed from EB501 doesn't TORR and so needs to be manually cancelled. This train is also standing in front of the platform starter signal. This is what causes the 'subroute is locked in the opposite direction' message. 5F89 stopping not fully in the platform is caused by there being too many trains in the platform. 2D06 is timed to depart from Eastbourne at 0547 5F96 which forms 2D10 is timed to arrive at 0552 2D06 should depart before 5F96 arrives. However from the Train Running History (F5 Performance Data View window), 5F96 arrived at 0547, 5 mins early blocking 2D06 in. This is why 2D06 says Ready to Depart by train 2D10 infront. If you had let 2D06 go before 5F96 arrived, then when 5F89 arrived into P2, he would have fitted all the way into the platform clear of the platform starter and allowing you to signal 5F90 (the next working of 5F89) back out of the station with no error I suggest that you go back to a save from before 0547 sim time and re run from there. Else you need to manually set all the points from P2 to EB106 and when 5F90 calls for authority to move grant it. When 2D10 departs, you'll be able to then let 2D06 depart running aprox 60 mins late. Its always wise to double check the TTs of both trains in the platform and the one you're signalling in to make sure you're not going to block one of them in by the other if they are simply platform sharing rather than joining. Ah right I see, so is EB106 the first signal onto the mainline? Louis. Log in to reply |

Yes. Right click on the signal (or Shift right click in 'Right-click cancels route' is selected in F£and it brings up a menu for the signal. The first line is the Signal ID. They are also found in the signal number plan found in the relevant sim manual on the wiki
