Is there a way to adjust the size of the top bar of the message window? The bar seems to have reduced in size, and whilst being great for displaying more messages, I'm unable to drag it elsewhere on the screen as it only lets me resize it.

Go to the options menu (F3) and in the Display tab on the right hand side is a tick box (3rd one down) 'Hid message windows title bar'. Uncheck this

When the title bar is hidden you can move the message window by following this process:

1) Position your cursor in the window then press Alt + Space + M.
2) Re-position your cursor in the window and it will change to a cross with 4 arrow-heads.
3) When the cross is showing, hold the left mouse button down and drag the window to wherever you want it.

You can re-size the window by putting the cursor on one of the edges or corners and dragging the handle to resize in one or two dimensions.

It is sometimes easier to put the window where you want it by dragging two diagonally opposed corners to the correct locations rather than shifting the whole window then dragging sides or corners to exactly the right place.
