A standard weekday at Crewe and its surrounding areas. With line closed between Stafford and Rugby on the Trent Valley for engineering works at Colwich Junction and HS2 outside of Litchfield TV. This means a lot of trains had to divert via Penkridge and Sletchford which resulted in some trains been retimed. This timetable follows Tuesday 18th July with a couple of extra workings thrown in.

This timetable is in memory of Chris Law (ChrisRail), for all the help and information regarding the Engineering Block at Colwich, Staffordshire.

Timetable can be found via the Loader, User Content and under Crewe.
Or via the Upload Section https://www.SimSig.co.uk/File/Details/2973

Any issues please report below.

Hi Aaron,

Great timetable, enjoying it so far!

4S88/H07962B re-entered from Basford Hall Sdgs with its electric locos before the (delayed) inbound working had arrived! (Rule has wrong UID)

Thanks
Jamie

4M27 enters from Acton Grange at 0508 but its passing time at Weaver Junction is 1038, with following times being based on that
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Hi,

Is 1K03 into P9 a deliberate (or Milton Keynes) error, as it would block 1K02/1D10 from leaving?

Also 6K87 should have DEF not DER activity at Alsager GL.

Thanks
Jamie

I’ll take a look at 1K03 think it should have been on P10 that day.

6K87 now fixed to DEF my tester forgot to mention this.

I think P10 may still have been out of use on this date, lots of ad-hoc shunts to move stuff out of the way but I don't know the exact date it returned to service.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Hi,

I put 5I06 (reversing at CE142) onto P12 to avoid conflict with 1F44 travelling into P11 from the other direction.

Thanks
Jamie

Thank you both. Crewe P10 came back into action sometime during August.

6K87 was fixed this morning, 5I06/1I06 shifted to P12 as booked on the day. As with 1K03/1D43 I've added in a move under 5D43 which shunts it out of P12 into the Down Refuge until it's next departure. 5Q02/03 moved from P12 to UDL, and 0Z46 moved from UDL to P7.

Hi,

Got to 1400 (but now with a TCF blocking the whole South neck on the Main and Nantwich lines ).
Should 6Y64/6Y65 be alternates? I've just had them both arrive from Madeley in quick succession.

Thanks
Jamie

having checked both 6Y64 and 6Y65 ran around 30mins apart from each other that day. Although 6Y65 ran as a VSTP hence the V in the UID. If running the timetable with delays/failures on they may enter next one after another.

Hi,

5Y36 only has 3 minute recess in the EMU/CET siding, which looks like it should be 23 minutes as it otherwise then sits in P1 for 25 minutes!

Thanks
Jamie

Hi,
One other thing I noticed, especially with 1Wxx services, is that many of them have Nantwich as passing time despite stopping all other stations.

Thanks
Jamie

Hey Guys,

don´t know if it has been mentioned somewhere before, at least I was not able to find anything relating to it.
Great Timetable, enjoying it wery much!

4M87 entering at 18:52h with its two 90s is to arrive on the Down Arrival at Basford Hall Sidings.
However, there is a No OHLE Note, and the Train accepted the Route an disappeared.
Just for Information.

Many Greetings,
Flo

As far as I know the Down Arrival is electrified into the yard. Maybe the No OHLE shouldn't be labled on this era?

Recent Cab Ride video also shows this at 01:06:57
