Submitted to the Download area, awaiting moderator approval. If you encounter any bugs/other issues, please report them in this topic TT Notes A 2013 timetable for the North East Scotland simulation. Passenger times were taken from Open Train Times, freight trains from the WTT published by Network Rail. Scot Rail The dominant operator in this TT, Scot Rail provides an hourly service between Edinburgh/Glasgow and Aberdeen, as well as less frequent services to Inverness, both from Aberdeen and via Dunkeld. A large amount of stock stables overnight at Perth. Scot Rail also operate the daily sleeper services, two portions of which pass through this area- the Inverness portion via Perth and the Aberdeen portion via Cupar. Note that there are rules in place to prevent trains which terminate at Dyce and Inverurie re-entering too soon in the event of late running. East Coast East Coast operate a handful of trains per day between Aberdeen and London, and one train a day via Perth to Inverness. A route refresher loco operated by this TOC may also make an appearance. Cross Country Cross Country operate one train a day to/from Aberdeen, and another to/from Dundee. These trains depart to the south in the morning, arriving back in the evening. There are also associated movements to/from Craigentinny CS. Freight At the start of the session, a light engine will enter at Cupar, which decides which day's freight traffic will run. Some days have more, some days less, and some trains will only run as required. Tay Bridge Fuel siding (AKA Linkswood) is only served on a Wednesday. Note that at the time of release there is a bug with the GF. Trains can enter the siding as ususal, however the points must be reversed via F11 for departing trains. Couple of issues at the top of the tt (Friday version): 5E15 seeds at A32 but isn't booked off off the depot till 0910. 1E11 seeds in p5 and calls in for a red signal, but isn't booked to leave till 0752. Kev Log in to reply |

All it needs is an additional location adding to the TT for the last inward location a train would pass on its way into the platform. For example in the Edinburgh sim, if you want a train to seed into one of the West End platforms and wait for time, you set the seed location as whatever platform but in the location list in the TT put a first entry in as Mound with a time of 00:00 before the TT for the onward working. The train then shows in F2 for a brief period on sim opening as moving towards the buffer stops, after which it picks up the outward TT and shows as standing at the Waverley waiting for departure. You then get the normal TRTS or waiting at red messages at due time. You can see how it works in the 2006 TTs for the re-released McSims. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Steamer |

" said:It's your man in the siding that's on the phone every 15 mins (and there isn't a "wait till booked time" option when he calls in!).You do exactly the same with him as you do with one in a platform - you set a location of Ferryhill Up/Dn as the first line in the TT with a passing time of 00:00. The train then shows briefly in F2 as moving in a Down direction then stopped at Aberdeen Clayhills HST rather than stopped behind a red signal and he doesn't ring in until you have held him past due time. Class 5's (and Classes 1 and 2) wait for due time; if you try the same fudge with a train of a different Class you might get a phone call, but you also get the option of waiting until due time before ringing back. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

V1.2 has been uploaded, This version corrects the issues raised above with seed trains, and includes the 0445 start that was accidentally omitted from the original release. 04:45 start TT set to start at 00:00 so needs to be manually started at 04:45 (or speeded up.)

All, Thanks for the timetable. I have one query, though. I seem to have ended up with almost all the '0ZXX' trains entering on the same day. I was under the impression only one was meant to run on any one occasion. Thanks again Log in to reply |

Long shot, but are all the rules present and correct? (quick way - F4 edit TT, click on rules tab, see if rules are present, in particular the 10 rules for the 0Z0x trains) I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply |

Just a thought, but how are you loading the TT? Are you selecting the TT while going through the start-up screen while opening the sim (or from File - New Simulation) or are you not picking a TT at that stage and then going to Timetable - Open (merge with current)? If you use the second route and the sim clock has clicked past 00:00:30 before the TT opens, then you don't see any of the seed trains which should enter when the sim opens and the rules for the 0Z0X trains get screwed up as well. Alternatively, have you changed the start time from 00:00 (or 04:45) when loading the TT? I have started up the sim a few times now and have always only had one of those trains enter at Cupar so I don't think the TT is at fault. Hi, Sorry for the delay - university and jobs call etc. I loaded the TT from the box that appears when you start a new simulation - I think it says select TT or words to that effect. I changed nothing, starting at midnight and doing nothing in the settings. Log in to reply |

There are 10 rules present in the F4 option menu. I copied over both the .WTT and .WTR files into the appropriate folder. Log in to reply |
