Hello everyone. I'm new to the game and I'm having a bit of an issue with WembSub. I have trains leaving Stonebridge Park LUL depot but not giving me TRTS and then getting "waiting for correct route to be set". Having looked at the manual multiple times and reading about headcodes, I'm none the wiser. I'm hoping one of you will instantly know the answer to this Thanks! Log in to reply |

You need to Signal them from the Depot to either of the Departure/Arrival lines where they will then wait and give TRTS.

To clarify - The issue is one with the timetable, not the sim. The sim is correctly advising you that you're attempting to send what it thinks is a passenger train onto a non passenger line (Stonebridge Park 21/22 Road or Harrow reversing siding). Unfortunately with the way LUL "headcodes" work on Wembley Sub it cannot tell that these are actually ECS moves. So long as the "wrong route set" message is just the phonecall to advise you you're routing a passenger train onto a goods line, you can reply with the "ok please accept route onto goods line" response and move on. Alternatively if you're feeling confident enough to edit timetables, ticking the "can use freight lines" check box for the LU train category(s) under the train types tab in the F4 timetable edit window should stop these calls, although it will not have any effect on trains already in the area. I am not involved with the "default" timetable for Wembley Sub, but can happily report that the issue will not be present when the 15th October 2009 timetable is eventually released for Wembley Sub. " said:To clarify -This answer is correct but incomplete. In the timetable editor, "train characteristics" tab, there's a drop-down called "class of service". This can be used to make a train ECS irrespective of its headcode. I'm a little puzzled, because I remember painfully changing well over 100 timetables to explicit ECS before the sim was released for just this reason. Once I'm back off holiday I'll look into it.
