Am i thinking wrong or are there versions of the above two in scrolly mode?

No, neither have ever been scrolly and there are no plans to do them scrolly.

Shame - The paged sims dont like being windowed on my laptop and i prefer windowed to full :P

This has no doubt been posted else where, but I run SIMSIG with vista on a Dell Laptop and get resolution issues. I think this had something to do with Vista not liking rasterised screens.... I've found the best thing is to load the sim, press 'exit' but don't actually exit when prompted. The window will resize itself and look proper, but it won't take up all of the screen. I believe a thread exists on this very subject if you care to do a search.
