Noted today that when providing an incorrect password to login, no message was conveyed of this fact. My problem was due to caplock being "on". Is a message supposed to be provided? BarryM Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

My keyboard has no caplock indication.Assuming you are using Windows XP, if you go Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Accessibility Wizard then you should be able to go through some of the options on there to enable a sound to go off when you turn Caps Lock Num Lock or Scroll Lock on or off. Hope This Helps. EDITED TO ADD; Be very careful with Accessibility Wizard as it has just kinda mucked up XP for me by making those three buttons in the top-right hand corner of many program windows really tiny. I'm trying to fix this but seem to be struggling with that at the moment. Use the advice above regarding the sounds at your own risk - I won't accept responsibility if it mucks up XP for you the same as it has now done for me, but I will of-course try to help you to fix it should things go a bit pear shape. You can right-click on the program, on the taskbar, en there are your buttons.

Besides, the buttons were not overly small and were , thankfully, still useable - albeit it with a bit of care and attention.
