I was just stating a fact. NR do operate trains and Carlisle are hired by certain TOC's :pinch:

I don't know, to be honest! I thought DBS had the bulk of the work. The main point is that Network Rail don't (and can't) run any themselves!

Just a quick one Routes on which more than 1 TOC can be used to go from 1 station to the next (must follow the same line) I'll start it off Sheffield - Manchester (Via hope valley) served by EMT, FTPE and Northern Derby - Sheffield served by EMT, XC and 1 Northern Service Derby - Nottingham served by EMT and XC I could go on but I'll let you name a few Log in to reply |

New Cross Gate-Crystal Palace or West Croydon (Southern and London Overground) Redhill-Reigate (Southern and First Great Western) Clapham Junction-Shepherd’s Bush (Southern and London Overground) Leighton Buzzard-Milton Keynes Central (Southern and London Midland) – No doubt there are other short segments along this stretch too where adjacent stations are called at by two different operators.
