Can I remind people that the cut-off date for early bird (£9.95) admission is now 7 days away (the cut-off is Monday 24th. March). If you decide you want to attend after that date, please still put your name on the sign-up list even if you wish to pay on the day so that we can get the right numbers for the buffet. I also have a request about electrical equipment given the constraints of the venue. We will need to run off two sockets outside the area where we will be setting up. We will therefore need at least two long extension leads and/or at least 2 surge protected extension leads/adapters. I would be grateful if anyone who can bring such kit would either post here or PM me so that we can make sure we have adequate kit for the day. The best information I can find indicates that laptops take less than 1 amp even when charging so we will have adequate capacity from the 2 sockets provided enough extension leads and adapters arrive. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

Just a quick reminder for anybody who still intends signing up for the early bird meet admission that the deadline for signing up is now very very close. Don't miss out on the chance to get to meet some of your fellow virtual signallers. Paul You have to get a red before you can get any other colour Log in to reply |

Thanks everyone for organising yesterday's meet. Really enjoyable to be signalling trains again, and nice to play Wolves and Aston.

Thanks to everyone who came along, hope you had a good time. Special thanks to JamesN for all his work in producing the information packs for the Midlands chain run on the day.

Many thanks to those that attended the meet. Seems it went quite well, if the occasional issue here and there. However, there was a problem with the buffet. It seems the venue had an internal communication failure which they did not discover until after the meet. The upshot of this is that we will be giving partial refunds to you. For those that paid in advance by PayPal this will be refunded back through PayPal so if you paid by credit card then it would go back on the credit card, for example. For those that paid on the day we will give coupons (vouchers) to use on this website, whether for a future meet or any product. You don't need to do anything at this stage but give us a few days to work out how much and for it to be processed. Apologies for the lack of food which was beyond our control. Our next meet is likely to be London as usual in July - details to be announced when known. SimSig Boss Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Adrian the Rock |
