I think there's a fault with this timetable as 1M11 enters and terminates at London Euston as booked with the Class 90 then coming off it at the buffers end forming 0M16 as booked with the carriages now awaiting 0M11 to form 5M11 ECS to Wembley Depot HOWEVER once OM11 couples up to 1M11 to form 5M11, it then says 5M11 has no loco power :/

1M11 is booked to do the following, is this actually right?

Joins 0M11
DividesF 0M16
Next Train 5M11

As I think it ought to be as follows

Joins 0M11
Next Train 5M11
DividesF 0M16

The order of activities is correct. The next train order is the final activity. Anything after that won't be carried out because the train has already been designated as 5M11. Have you got a save game available for us to gave a look at?

I think it would work if the order was changed slightly to:

DivideF 0M16
Join 0M11
Next 5M11

I think that the sim is getting confused because it thinks the removal of the engine from the front of the train is taking away all of the power. I seem to remember that the sim doesn't really know which way round the train is (i.e. if the engine is at the front or back) as the train is just a thing of a given length and specified power supply. That could be complete rubbish though...

The order of the divide and join would have no affect because the activity divide has been used which leaves power with both halves. If drop engine front (DEF) was used then the remaining section of the train would have no power.
My understanding from previous topics is that the sim just recognise the train being x length with some parameters giving power type, acceleration rates etc. it's up to us as the signaller to bear in mind what trains are engines at both ends, and what needs to have a run around before being reversed.
