A very recent development by Network Rail on its open data has released a version without the freight headcodes being scrambled. The new version is being used by OpenTrainTimes so far but all the usual providers are expected to migrate over to the new version in time. Good news as it saves looking it up from the WTT - always assuming the freight train appears in the WTT! They've updated today as when I looked this morning they were still scrambled. Good news though! Update - I have had a look tonight at the trains through Nuneaton early tomorrow. Realtime Trains are still showing scrambled details for trains not activated, once activated I think they show correct details, but Open Train Times are showing the full details - Headcode and timing load even if not activated.
