With a route in place from BH20 to BH30, attempting to set BH62 to BH114 gets the response "switch locked normal" - but I can throw all of the necessary switches with the mouse. To this Signal Engineer it seems as if the routes should be able to co-exist - unless there is something I'm missing. Dave Log in to reply |

I see now that PBH22 needs to move reverse. Interesting choice.

I think the issue is probably 62 to 114 requires 22 crossover (on approach to 20) reverse, so if they're locked normal by a train sitting on them, there's your problem.

It makes sense (at least to me) when you look at it not from just flank locking, but combined with the flank locking on points 25, prevents any possible head on collision. Instead the worst you'll end up with is a side swipe You might find this link helpful https://www.flickr.com/photos/15977833@N07/14949342846/ James Log in to reply The following user said thank you: DaveBarraza |

Yeah I get it... I'm used to the overlap defining the limits of which points you need to deal with, and that's just TBH251. Thanks! Dave Log in to reply |
