Good day, I want to chain NE Wales and Chester on my computer. I'm following the instructions correctly but can't connect to slave.

Please advise.

Cheers.

Hi. What are the steps you are taking, and what error messages (if any) do you get?

Okay, here's how to do it on a single computer

Open Simsig, start Sim 1, on the networking details page, check the enable a SimSig server button and use the primary TCP port

Now, open a second instance of Simsig, start sim 2, on the networking details page, check the enable a SimSig server button and use the secondary TCP port.

When both sims are open, on the hamburger menu of one of them, select multiplayer and connect to external signal box. In the menu that pops up, select the name of the other sim. Then another window should pop up asking you to accept the connection. Once you do that, then the message "Now synchronized with ..." should appear in the message box of each sim.

Are you entering an IP address of 127.0.0.1?

Just launch the program again from wherever you launch it (start menu, desktop shortcut, whatever…).

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.
