Hello. The manual for Wembley mainline say that it will NOT chain to Wembley suburban, but the chaining map and the manual for Wembley suburban say it does. What it correct?

"The simualtion does not chain to Wembley Suburban at present; an update is required to that simulation."

I think the manual is out of date, I've just done a very quick test and the two chain together with no warnings and a couple of test trains transfer correctly.

If I remember right the trains wont transfer from sub to the mainline sim even though they may appear to.

Ive not seen or heard of an update that fixed this but could well be wrong.

The chaining was added in Wembley 1.4.1 and Euston 1.99.14. I don't seem to have reports of any bugs in it.

For it to work fully, yes the timetables need to be pairs that have been tested and stated to work together.

Usually timetable notes will include something like 'This 2000 timetable will chain to sim ABC using my 2000 timetable version 1.2 or above'.

A timetable from a different author just for the same year may well not chain correctly. While trains will transfer across (that is down to the sim dev) they may not match in the 'receiving' sim (that is down to the timetable author) and then possibly run without a timetable, or be the wrong type/length of train etc.

Shoutout for @9pN1SEAp 's TT Chaining Validator Tool - will check 2 or 3 adjoining sims TTs to see if they match.
