In the 2019 timetable 5J73, 5J66, 5S73, 5M79 and 5R28 should enter from Ashburys Arr/Dep line to be able to reverse correctly at Ashburys to head back to Phillips Park Sth Jn. They can't currently do that because there isn't an entry point for Ashbury Arr/Dep. I'm playing it chained so I can reroute from Man Picc but on a standalone sim running, you'd have to authorise the train to proceed where there isn't a signalled move, UNLESS the GL@ Ardwick brings them onto the Arr/Dep Similarly 4E70, 6E33 and 6H52 cannot enter Ashbury SS when if they enter from Up East. If the Ardwick GL works, then the timetable in Man Picc 2019 need changing to show Ashbury Arr/Dep. Only 4E70 and 6E33 show Ashburys Arr/Dep (Can't remember if I saved these changes in my copy either or it's in the original) Log in to reply |

I tried a few pf those trains and they all came in on the Arr/Dep line correctly. What happened when you ran it? Have you modified the timetable to remove the GL at Ardwick?

This means the issue is with the Man Picc 2019 timetable. I don't know if I've captured them all, as in every train that requires their timetable changing. Log in to reply |

You said the Manchester East sim was wrong... now you're saying the Manchester Piccadilly timetable is wrong. The TPR for LNW North, section NW5015 does not list Ashburys Arr/Dep as a mandatory timing point. Instead it states the following: Quote: Thus you just need to read the timetable and if it says GL at Ardwick, route it onto the Arr/Dep line. I checked the Man Picc timetable for some of the trains you mention and they all have the GL line code. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

It was my mistake. They happen. I thought it was an issue with Manchester East but you have proven it to be an issue with Man Picc 2019 timetable. I had assumed that because there wasn't an Ashbury Arr/Dep entry point that the timetable had been completed to the best of the abilities (ie. Missing path) and trains were being send along Up East, rather than being sent through Ashbury Arr/Dep. I hadn't noticed the GL routing personally, I also think that by putting in Ashbury Arr/Dep, it's a clearer indication as to where the train should be sent. I guess it come down to personal preference, and that I missed it. LOL Thanks for looking into it. Log in to reply |
