In an old, super-annuated version of SimSig that I still keep around for some older, defunct simulations, it's possible to move the message list to another monitor where I can view something bigger than the three lines afforded on the latest version of SimSig. Could some consideration be given to re-introducing the old movable capability of the message list, rather than the current arrangement of it being bonded to the main view? Cheers! Log in to reply |

It can already be moved and re-sized as you wish? Just click and drag the top bar where is says "Message- [Sim Name]" to move it, and drag the sides and corners of the window to re-size it. EDIT: You may have accidentally unticked the 'Hide messages window title bar' in F3-> Display. If you have, just re-tick it and re-start SimSig and the title bar will reappear. Hi, Steamer, Yes, that worked although it was the fact that I had "Hide messages window title bar" checked rather than un-checked that was the problem. Once it was un-checked the Title bar appeared upon re-start, and I was able to migrate the message list away from the main view. Thanks for your help 👍 Dave Log in to reply |
