I note the ACI button at Brighton has 3 positions, being:- ACI - OFF ACI - OPP ACI - ON I've read the sim manual on wiki and searched the forum but can't find anything about what "ACI - OPP" is. Can anyone help please? Cheers Matt. Not fat ..... fluffy!! (G Iglesias) Log in to reply |

Is there? I don't remember that and I can't try it now since Brighton isn't yet refreshed for the new System Files which have the locale incompatibility problem fixed. Could you give some screenshots and explain a little bit? All I remember is a dot next to the "ACI" button... Log in to reply |

OPP is "On Planned Path" - ACI only applies to trains in their booked platform.

If only we could get ACI working again on the real panel as it's been signed out of use since 1994, not that we have any switch on the panel for it anyway. It was worked from an ancient computer system in the telecoms room. Working the Tats & Cats in auto with ACI would be a godsend :-)

Any idea when the existing Three Bridges panels will transfer to the ROC?

Panels 7*, 6, 5, 4 and 3 are penciled in to transfer over to the ROC in 2017 and panels 2 ,1b, 1c and 1a at some point during Control Period 6 (2019-2024). * Panel 7 may move in 2015 if the new Thameslink sidings at Horsham can't physically fit on the panel.

Well, I was going to say you probably don't have too long to wait for your ACI. I didn't think it would be that long before you all moved in to the ROC. Log in to reply |

Hey all, Is it just me, or does ACI work sometimes on some platforms, and not at all on others? I've tried with it set to ON and OPP, and often it just refuses to insert the new run automatically. Can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong - is there anywhere I can read about its behaviour? Maybe I'm missing something. I'm using the new version, with the latest updated Loader, and TimTamToe's April 2012 v2.3 timetable. Log in to reply |

ACI-OPP won't always interpose if you put a service into the wrong platform. That's what OPP stands for ACI-ON should though. Can you post a screen shot or two showing a before and an after and also note what ACI you have set and what you are expecting to happen? Log in to reply |

There was an issue in the last release where only the top 4 platforms had working ACI. This will be addressed in the next release.

Although in saying that, I just had it work for one train on Brighton P1, but not the next one, both correctly on that Platform, so it does appear selective. Might it be because one train had a -1 at the end and the other didn't? Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait! Log in to reply |
