Presumably 'Paint' or similar basic graphics software. They're only mock ups, not live sims.

You can also use a text or word processing program and the SimSig font.

Next Up, a sim i'd very much like to SimSig and could result in some big (HUGE!) chains!
Its the small though VERY busy Healey Mills! covering the line from Wakefield (west yks) through the now disused (mostly) Yard and then onto the thornhill panel where we have the intensive 5 TPE an hour plus all local Northern services thrown in, and through Mirfield and into Huddersfield! then we have the small and simple line towards Halifax and manchester the long way round!

In addition we have Batley! a small IFS panel box connecting leeds (York IECC) & Healey Mills PSB

would be a good sim that would link East and West and would finally give us Birmingham right through to Newcastle! (if bristol & Glocester Exes are updated we get Plymouth to Newcastle!)

hope you enjoy!

Batley (lady anne) LC is a UWC, not worked barriers/gates even though its right next to the box.

Theres a typo at Norbury goods yard which should be Horbury.

The up dep sdg GF is storrs hill ground frame.

Otherwise very impressive.

Lady Anne crossing isn't a UWC, it's an MCG crossing with wicket gates, there's a key release instrument in Batley box which maintains B2 and B11 at danger when the key is released. Wicket gates are kept normally locked.

It's listed as MCG in the Sectional Appendix, and, in 2009 at least, the gates (I assume the vehicle ones) had a gate lock worked from the box- see the rodding in this photo: https://paulbigland.zenfolio.com/p638949268/h5399AEE2#h5399aee2

Correct. That was certainly the case when I did a brief bit of trainspotting there once. All gates locked from the box.

Another contribution from me. This time my attempt at the Main Line panel of Basingstoke ASC which includes Basingstoke station. This would have 4 neighbouring sims: Salisbury (already released), Eastleigh, Woking and Reading.

As ever, thoughts welcome.

That looks ace dave! I've attempted to start a mock of Doncaster, but the sheer size is very offputting xD yours is very long and a decent size with a staedy amount of traffic I would think!

Thanks Ell. I thought to try and do Doncaster as well but I would hope that would be in development. It is one of the barriers - probably the main one - to a full-on Kings Cross to Scotland chain which would be superb fun and deffo worth a 24hr chain.

I like to see Woking and Eastleigh mockups

Do agree it be plenty of stuff to do with the XC, SWR, GWR services plus the freight too on the mockup of Basingstoke.

No it isn't. But it's very complex and I hope it happens for real!

I'd very much like to know where to find it as well.
This sim, if ever produced, would be the icing on the cake for me. I'd buy it instantly with not a minute of hesitation

So would I. It isn't the only one I would buy with not a minute of hesitation. If Doncaster PSB came out though it would provide a chain with multiple other sims at the same time (West Yorkshire, York, Peterborough, Sheffield thinking off the top of my head) which would only leave the line through Morpeth, Alnmouth and Berwick before it would be possible to do a SimSig chain from London Kings Cross to Scotland. Would be huge fun.
